About

Raised in and around my families chain of video rental stores (Box Office Video!), I quickly grew a love for all things video. At Purdue University I bought my first camera and began documenting life. That led me to Threadless where I helped grow the company into an amazing resource for their community of artists. After 14 years at Threadless, I set off on my own into the world of freelance photography.

When I’m not around town capturing Chicago and beyond from the ground, you might be able to catch me up in the air filling in for one of Chicago’s TV stations covering the news from a helicopter.
